As the Head of Partnerships at Faurecia-Aptoide, Mattijs oversees the content partnerships for automotive. He and his team are responsible for bringing android apps to OEM’s like Volkswagen, Mercedes Benz and BMW amongst others.
Prior to his tenure at Faurecia-Aptoide, Mattijs held key roles at Opera, Philips TV and TPV, where he was responsible for strategic partnerships and development of content experiences like Android and Linux Smart TV portals, gaming and video on demand services.
His entrepreneurial spirit was evident from his early career, co-founding Soepel B.V., a successful advertisement game studio that worked on advertisement gaming strategies for major brands like Adidas, Vrumona, ING.
