Crash-reporting taken to next-level
Monitoring app crashes is essential for app stability and the agility to respond to issues quickly. Most teams use Crashlytics from Firebase because it is powerful yet simple. Operating in 50+ countries and processing 10+ Millions of orders per day, we needed to take Crashlytics to the next-level.
In this talk, we would like to share our experience on how we built our custom crash-reporting tooling that is built using powerful tools like Google BigQuery, and Google Data Studio. Using Google BigQuery also gave us the ability to transform and clean our raw data and join with Firebase Analytics datasets. At the end of our presentation, we would like to present a couple of real-life scenarios and show you how we used our custom dashboard to decrease our root cause finding time and saved our engineers time more than 40%.
